Our Voice, Our Media
Video: Hidden Existence
Gandhi Brigade partnered with Pyramid Atlantic to employ eight teen interns to learn about documentary filmmaking and printmaking. These teens used their art and media skills to produce a film and a visual art campaign to highlight the issue of teen homelessness in Washington D.C. Our eight interns used crowd-funding to raise money for their summer salaries through Kickstarter, through their efforts and outreach to the community, they raised over $6,000.

Featured photography: Black and White Portraits
During the Spring of 2013, the Gandhi Brigade Educators decided to explore the theme of Social Justice. With the identified quotes reflecting their idea of social justice, they paired text with self portraits exemplifying their diversity. The quotes ultimately speak to a sense of community within this diversity as we all gravitate towards the higher goals of equanimity through non-violence. View their work here.
