At the TEDx event I presented the video that documented our social justice bootcamp. While writing and figuring out what my introduction would be I reflected on the goal and purpose of Gandhi Brigade and how its function embodied the ideas that Mahatma Gandhi had about activism. This caused me to integrate Gandhi’s idea of Satyagraha, a force propelled by love and truth, into the introduction. Speaking at TEDX not only allowed me to spread information about Gandhi Brigade but also about principals that are essential to all social justice movement.

Besides showcasing what we do in Gandhi Brigade I was also able to see how others express themselves and their opinions. I saw many talented speakers who tackled issues like gender inequality and bullying by using creative methods. These creative methods allowed me to see their issues from a new perspective and develop my own opinions on them. - Brieanna
