Hello my name is Cindi Roman and I with two other teen Gandhi Brigade promoters helped Tiffany Spencer lead a workshop at Montgomery Community College on March 20, 2010 for Community Bridges' "Smart, the Rebirth of Cool" youth conference. We had a great time making videos about problems/ issues that affect us teenagers at our school, community, and at home.

On March 12th Gandhi Brigade and LAYC youth presented their ideas for a Latina/o Teen Pregnancy Prevention Campaign at the Gandhi Brigade Media Center. The project was born out of a community-based research project conducted by Susan Cruz at UMD Baltimore's school of social work.

On Monday January 18th, 2010, the Gandhi Brigade collaborated with BloomBars, a non-profit organization located in Washington, DC that uses the arts as a means to affect their community. As a part of our Day of Service, several Gandhi Brigade youth learned about the significance of utilizing the arts in advocacy and community change.
