"Butterflies" Causes Good Things

On Monday December 5th, the Gandhi Brigade held a screening for The Rights of Butterflies. This movie was about a girl who is struggling to pay for tuition and needs scholarships but, because she is undocumented, cannot qualify for them. The screening was followed by a discussion about the Dream Act and all of the things that were brought up in the film. I think the movie made me feel emotional because they were some parts where it was sad and other part where I felt happy so I felt emotional. It was also fun because they had food there and a lot of people there.
