Boot Camp

What I learned about myself at the social justice boot camp is that I’m actually an open-minded person. I also found out that I’m pretty brave. I say this because I over came my fear of heights and went on a zip-line. This was something I would have never done but I did it and I don’t have any regrets.

The things I learned about others is that everyone has a different opinion, it may not be the same as yours but no matter what you have to be mindful to others even if it sounds silly. This is important because if you tell them they are wrong and/or laugh at them you are indirectly forcing them not to participate in the next activity.

Even though the workshops and the games were fun I have to say my favorite My favorite moment was when I was spending time with my friends.

Yes, it made me look at people differently. By this I mean that I wont be quick to judge people. I know feel this way because of the second workshop I attended at the camp. They showed us pictures for random peoples faces, then they asked us to describe the type of person we thought they were. Our guesses seemed on point until they proved us wrong. I was surprised cause I had said that a murderer seemed loving.
