Arizona's state law banneds Mexican American books
HB2281 is a law that students are not allowed to learn about mexican american studies, it is affected by the law and reading about your own country is important. This law was passed in arizona on may ,11 2010. This bill is important because the people don't like it also it being racism to the people. The people are not allowed to learn about their own countries when their in America and thats not right to the people in arizona. I feel bad about this because its not fair to the people, they think its racism but this lady said "she told the students that racism has nothing to do with color and mexico is where Mexican studies is taught , not Americans" which i think its wrong because racism does have to do with somebody's skin color and people are suppose to learn about their countries.

GBN Covers the Youth Town Hall Meeting
On October 12 the Montgomery Country Council members held a youth town hall meeting to hear the youth voice their concerns about issues in their community. One of my most memorable moments at the youth town hall meeting was to hear the community complain about how they feel about the new curfew law being passed in Montgomery County. The general youth do not approve of this curfew because it will take away their free time to hang out with friends and family members.
