Youth Town Hall Meeting

Youth from all over Montgomery County came together on February 3, 2010 in Rockville for the first ever Youth Town Hall meeting.

While there, young people from different organizations and schools voiced their issues to the county council. Youth from Gandhi Brigade focused on youth space in the new civic building in Downtown Silver Spring. Overall the meeting went very well. There were a lot of youth who had something to say and the council members listened. We asked around and most of the the people we asked thought that this was a very good meeting and another one should be held. Some thought that the council members responses to some of the questions were somewhat vague and didn't really answer the questions but for the most part, we received good feedback.
