Hawa Toure

Hawa Touré is one of the original Gandhi Brigade members from 2005. She has created or worked on many video pieces including "Wolf Whistle." "Finding Our Turf," "What's Your Story," "Second Chances," and more recently a wonderful promotion piece on the Gandhi Brigade.

Hawa has been a staff member for two years; she is in charge of teen recruitment and communication. She is going to El Salvador as part of the training staff. This September she joins Gandhi Brigade full time as an Americorps Volunteer.

Hawa is known for steady temperament, Michael Jackson-like dance moves, and for being one of the few good things to ever come out of New Jersey.
